 the timer circuit input (supply) is 12v DC

completely electrically isolated relay control for device such as Car, Automobile, door lock, model railway etc. 

Description:

Characteristics: 

1) Adjustable Delay Timer outputting to Relay.

   The relay is SPDT - single pole double throw.

When 12v is applied to the timer module, the relay will NOT immediately latch and relay status outputs are normally open/disconnected, After the preset timing period has elapsed (an adjustable delay of 1-10s), the relay then latches. N.B. As long as power is uninterrupted to the module, this latched state will remain. 

2. the delay time period is adjustable (0 -10 seconds) via a preset on-board potentiometer.

3) by increasing the on-board capacitor C1, the delay time can be further increased if necessary. 

4) module has two on-board indicators: an LED power indicator (RED) and relay latched indicator (GREEN) 

5) the relay output can handle AC 220V up to 10A (max 2000W) and 12v DC up to 10A

6) Delay time formula: T = 1.1RC. For example: for a capacitor of 100uf and resistor of 100Kohm 

Time = 1.1 x 0.0001 x 100,000 = 11 seconds
