N.B. wood comes in all densities and nails sometimes start to bend. If you notice the nail bending then you should stop immediately remove the nail and straighten it with a pair of pliers, then make a pilot hole in the wood with a bradawl or small drill so that the nail has a pathway to follow, please ensure that the pilot hole is slightly smaller than the nail. If you are not a confident DIY'er then we would advise seeking professional help to fit the item so as not to cause damage to the legs or other surfaces.
