This fishing pole cover/sack is made from 100% nylon, waterproof, ripstop fabric. When ordering let me know if you prefer red, navy, tan, hunter green, yellow, deep purple, royal blue, or silver/gray. Each sack measures between 6' 8" - 6' 10" (80"-82") long and approximately 18"-20" wide at the base. Since the length of fishing rods vary, I've designed these to work with just about any length rod. If the rod is longer, it still covers the length of the rod up to the reel and the Velcro secures everything in place, keeping your line secured and covered for carrying and when stored. There are two 7" Velcro strips to secure the bag around the rod. One at the base of the cover and one mid-way up the length of the rod. This bag was designed to protect your fishing rods/lines from tangling together when carrying more than one rod at a time to your fishing destination....whether laying in the back of your vehicle or carrying them down from the storage space at your lake/river place. It also protects your line and reel from the UV rays when sitting outside or in your boat for long periods of times.
These covers are super easy to use...just slide your fishing rod into this perfectly shaped sack and secure in two separate places with 7" Velcro strips that are permanently attached.
We can now carry 6 rods in one hand and our tackle box or bait and thermos of coffee in the other hand without ended up with a tangled mess of lines to work on when we reach our fishing destination and no longer have to spend 20 minutes separating the poles and untangling the lines before we can start to fish.
It's also super easy to slip the rod out of the sack or slide it back into the sack when done fishing. Even on windy days, this doesn't seem to be a problem, unlike open wraps that we've tried in the past that never seem to wrap around the pole easily even on calm days and are impossible to use if it's windy.
Our family LOVES these covers and we each have our poles in our own different color containers.

These are also GREAT for Bass fishermen who carry several rods to their tournament locations...all rigged up with their favorite lures. No one can see your choice of lures until you pull them out of the covers on your boat. No tangled lines, protected equipment, and super easy to use!!
