This gorgeous wine bottle holder is delightfully French and delightfully vintage. Made from aged metal on a rattan basketwork base and decorated with small bunches of grapes and vine leaves.

A beautiful decorative item for storing a couple of bottles of French wine, a Chateau bottled Bordeaux or maybe even some vintage Champagne? It would look superb in a French styled kitchen and could even add a little French chic to your wedding decor. It might even be some very stylish presentation packaging for a gift of wine. 

It looks rusty but it is smooth to the touch unlike when iron rusts and flakes. I suspect it may have originally been designed, probably in the 1980s, not to look brand new. Perhaps with some hints of green designer verdigris but what you see now is genuinely aged, weathered in the French climate and possibly rather dusty but its not actually corroded. 

In very good vintage condition, strong and functional but with the shabby chic finish described above. Please see all photos and remember it is approximately 40 years old and is pre-owned and pre-loved.
