Many people make mistakes when buying belts for their Sebo upright vacuum cleaner (or buy from online sellers who don’t know one end of a Sebo from the other). We get many telephone calls and emails from people asking us to identify the correct belts for their X machine, so we have made this listing to help you get the correct pair of belts. 

This listing is only for those who want a pair of belts for their Sebo Automatic X or their commercial Sebo XP machine. If you only want a single belt, or a belt from another Sebo model, you can find those on our other listings.

Choosing the correct pair of belts for your Sebo Automatic X or XP

Please note that belts are non-returnable. If you read the listing and choose based on the information we supply, it is not possible to buy the wrong ones. 

There are two possible combinations of belts for the models X1, X1.1, X4, X5, X7, X8 and commercial XP models. You’ll need to take off the top cover of your Sebo before you buy to be able to identify which pair you need. 

There are two ways to identify the correct belts:

• By going off the belt number on your old ones (if visible)
• By checking the number of teeth on the motor drive cog along with the colour of the belt sensor unit (the unit by the PCB on which both belts run – see the photos for clarification).

Below is how to identify which pair of belts you need. 

Belt Set One

If you need belt set one:

• Your smaller front belt has the number 5110 on it
• Your larger rear belt has the number 5379 or 5109 on it
• Your motor drive cog has 16 teeth
• Your belt sensor unit is light grey in colour

Belt Set Two

If you need belt set two:

• Your smaller front belt has the number 5110 on it
• Your larger rear belt has the number 5463 on it
• Your motor drive cog has 22 teeth
• Your belt sensor unit is yellow in colour

If you can’t read the numbers on your old belts, there is no need to call or e-mail us to clarify. You can safely choose which pair you need from the number of teeth on the motor drive cog and the belt sensor colour alone.
