Both airletters feature the same floral designs of Strelitzia, Disa, Calla Lily, and Deep Sea Lily, with a pair of butterflies. The 16c airletter was for internal mail, the imprinted stamp being Disa uniflora, with phosphor bar at left.   The 25c airletter was for International airmail, the imprinted stamp being the Protea cynaroides, also with bar at left.
