Whipcheck Hose to Hose Safety Cables (King Cable Hose Restraints) Whip Checks
Whipcheck safety cables to protect users and machinery in the event of hoses becoming uncoupled accidentally.
The whipcheck is chosen according the internal diameter or bore size of the hose.
There are three types of whipcheck:
Standard – wire and spring made from galvanised steel – aluminium ferrule
Anti spark – wire and spring made from galvanised steel – copper ferrule
(main application is the mining industry where aluminium is not
allowed)
Stainless steel – wire and spring made from 304 stainless steel – 316 stainless steel ferrule
The whipcheck must be fitted correctly – see below for correct and incorrect fitting.
The whipcheck is easy to install and requires no tools.
