This image, - 3¾" x 3¾" (95mm x 95mm) - and similar images made famous by publication on the magazine covers of The Saturday Evening Post and Harper's Bazaar, is an icon of the American Holiday Season.

While most of the whimsical art was the work of NORMAN ROCKWELL (1894-1978), himself an American icon, spanning a writing, painting and illustrator career of more than 50 years, this image was the work of HADDON SUNDSTROM, and was commissioned by the Coca-Cola Company in 1963.

COCA-COLA HAD COMMISSIONED Rockwell in 1928, and his "Coke" illustrations continued into the mid-1930s, making 'Coke' and 'Coca-Cola' nationally- and  internationally-recognised as symbols of the U.S.A.
