Buckle plays Aspis shield or Hoplon shield.

The Hoplon, better known as the Spartan shield, is a round convex shield of ancient Greek hoplites. It is with this shield that the phrase "Come back with your shield - or on it" is associated. Escaping the battlefield, and thus the loss of the shield was considered the worst crime in ancient Greece and severely punished. Therefore, the warrior had to return either with the shield (the victory) or on the shield (that is, to die in battle).

The buckle is attached to a leather belt mount, which is connected to a belt with a screw. To shorten the belt should: 

1. Unscrew the screw that holds the buckle 

2. Cut the excess of skin, according to your size 

3. Make a hole for the screw 

4. Fasten the buckle to the belt
