When you purchase a new pair of Linn Majik 140 speakers they are supplied with a highly rigid, layered MDF base. However, you can  improve their performance  by upgrading to a solid aluminium stand.

These stands will  increase the mass and rigidity of the base, the vibrations will be  reduced, hence resulting in greater accuracy across the frequency range and a better sound performance.
