All Computers must be installed and reprogrammed by an ASE Certified Technician, simply plugging in the unit without reprogramming the ECU will not allow the vehicle to start.
All ECUS have a 3 day warranty from the date of delivery. NO EXCEPTIONS.
If the buyer initiates a return the buyer must provide an invoice from an ASE Certified Technician stating the item is in fact defective. Buyer MUST disclose the ASE Certified Technicians company name, full address, phone number and name of the technician who performed the installation as well as the date and time installed, please keep in mind the 3 day warranty begins the day the item is delivered, not installed. Buyer must also send a photo of our ECU next to their old unit with both part numbers clearly visible to rule out buyer error.
Due to our ever so competitive pricing on our Radios / CD Players / Cassette Players / DVD Players / Navigation Units we DO NOT INCLUDE THE CODES WITH ANY UNIT UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED IN THE TITLE.
The buyer MUST CONTACT THEIR LOCAL DEALERSHIP WITH THE NEW UNITS SERIAL NUMBER AND RETRIEVE THE CODE THEMSELVES. Please take note, some dealerships may charge a small fee for this service. In no way shape or form is BMP Auto Salvage responsible in reimbursing the buyer for any fee paid.
All engines / transmissions must be installed by either the dealership or an ASE Certified repair facility.
If the buyer claims that the engine / transmission is defective a valid receipt from the ASE Certified facility must be provided within the 14 day warrantied time frame declaring the item defective. If not the 14 day warranty is null and void. THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS.
Warranty for Engines is for the Bare Long Block ONLY which is the Cylinder Head, Cylinder Block and Oil Pan. Our warranty does not extend to any Sensors, Throttle Bodies, Gaskets, Intake Manifolds, Exhaust Manifolds, Air Pumps, Alternators, AC Compressors, Power Steering Pumps, Wiring Harnesses, Fuel Injectors, Fuel Rails, Vacuum Lines, Tensioners, Rear Main Seals and so forth. Prior to installation it is incumbent for the ASE Certified Technician to thoroughly inspect the engine and address any issues that they may see. It is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for the buyer to attach all of their previous bolt ons, sensors and accessories from their previous engine to the new donor engine.
Warranty for Transmissions apples to the Internals and Casing ONLY. We are not response for any defective axle seals causing small leaks. It is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED that the buyer replace BOTH AXLE SEALS prior to installation!
Buyer will be required to print and sign our warranty disclaimer prior to shipping out the engine / transmission.
In the event of a return, should the ink or sticker be modified / removed in any way the warranty will be voided and the buyer will be reported to eBay as well as their local law enforcement agency.

1. By purchasing any item, the Buyer hereby agrees that he or she has agreed to all the terms of Sale and Return Policy set forth herein.
2. The 14 Day Warranty begins the day the item arrives to the Buyer’s registered address.
3. All items purchased are from salvaged vehicles which means they are pre-owned. The items may show extremely minor signs of use or significant wear. (We try to depict each item as accurately as we possibly can, please look over every image prior to purchase).
4. All canceled transactions will be subject to a 20% cancellation fee. (i.e., purchasing an item and contacting us for a refund for any reason whatsoever prior to shipment). Buyers trying to avoid eBay’s restocking policy by filing a claim or dispute through Paypal or any other payment processing company are also subject to the 20% restocking fee.
5. Other than a defective item, if a Buyer purchases an item and the Buyer would like to return it for whatever reason, the returned item shall be subject to a 20% restocking fee. The Buyer shall also assume full financial responsibility in returning the item. A valid tracking number MUST be provided along with signature confirmation on all orders more than $99.99. Please note that should the Buyer return any item that the Buyer is responsible for ALL shipping charges, which includes the charges associated with the Seller shipping the item to the Buyer as well as the costs of the Buyer returning the item to the Seller. For any and all refunds, the shipping costs as well as the 20% restocking fee will be deducted from the Buyer’s refund. THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS.
6. For all buyers who receive an item and assume it to be defective without having it installed or declared defective by an ASE Certified Technician will be held financially responsible for sending the item back to our registered address and will be subject to our 20% re-stocking fee. THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS.
7. All local pick ups, which means items picked up by the Buyer in Miami-Dade and Broward County, Florida, shall be paid in cash.
8. If the item has been purchased by the Buyer by mistake, the Buyer shall assume full financial responsibility for sending it back to our registered Paypal address with a valid tracking number. The Buyer may use the box or container that the Seller used to deliver the item to the Seller so long as the box or container is not damaged. HOWEVER, THE SELLER IS NEVERTHELESS RESPONSIBLE FOR ENSURING THAT THE PACKAGING MATERIALS ADEQUATELY PROTECT THE ITEM DURING RESHIPPING to ensure the item is delivered safely. Should the item be damaged upon its return to the Seller, the Buyer shall not be entitled to a refund.
9. For any defective item received by the Buyer, an exchange will first be offered. Only if the Seller is out of stock on the item will the Seller then be required to accept a return. If the defective item can be exchanged, then the exchanged item shall be sent out directly to the Buyer at the BUYER’S EXPENSE. THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS.
10. The National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (“ASE”) is a professional certification group that certifies professionals and shops in the automotive repair and service industry in the United States and parts of Canada. The Seller shall be required to replace an item deemed to be defective so long as the item has been declared defective by an ASE CERTIFIED TECHNICIAN. THE BUYER ASSUMES FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR SHIPPING THE OLD ITEM BACK TO US AS WELL AS PAYING FOR THE REPLACEMENT TO BE SENT OUT. THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS!
11. For any and all returns, the BUYER ASSUMES COMPLETE FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY FOR SENDING THE ITEM BACK TO THE SELLER REGARDLESS WHETHER THE ITEM WAS DEFECTIVE OR ANY OTHER REASON. THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS!
12. As to any defective item returned by the Buyer, the Buyer shall be required to provide verified proof from an ASE Certified Mechanic reflecting the reason(s) why the item is defective, along with a receipt, invoice, or other documentation which confirms the reasons why the item is defective. Items that are damaged after receipt by the Buyer or during installation are exempt and shall not be accepted by the SELLER. THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS.
13. If the Buyer opens a case or dispute with Paypal, Ebay or any other payment processing company, the Buyer shall be required to upload a copy of the invoice/receipt from the Buyer’s ASE mechanic stating that the item is defective as well as the technician’s full name, phone number and copy of the mehanic’s ASE Certification. Failure to provide these documents will void the warranty entirely as well as the opportunity to exchange the item or receive a refund.
14. All the Seller’s items reflect the Seller’s signature marking for identification purposes prior to shipment. All returned items must continue to bear these signature identification markings. Any items returned without our signature mark shall not qualify for a refund.
15. All air bag and dashboard sales are final. There are absolutely no returns on any air bags or dashboards. THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS.
16. If an item initially arrives defective, all replacement items will be sent through standard shipping services rather than any expedited service such as FedEx Smart Post or USPS Parcel Post and may not contain tracking information. Expedited shipping with tracking is available at an additional expense to the Buyer. The Seller offers free expedited shipping only for the initial purchase. THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS.
17. The Seller will ship the replacement part between 1 - 5 business days.
18. The Seller is not responsible for any breaches of warranty, express or implied, which are not otherwise reflected herein. We will not be held responsible for any damages to the vehicle in which the item is installed in or other damage or loss to property which exceeds the price of the item purchased.
19. As to any items ordered by the Buyer which requires any body cuts, Dashboards, or Air Bags there shall be no returns. THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS. A body cut is defined as the outer metal, fiberglass, etc., shell of an automobile as opposed to its chassis.
20. All sales on glass parts are final.
21. The Seller assumes no financial responsibility for any items damaged while in transit. In order for the Buyer to be refunded for an item lost or damaged through a shipping company, the Seller shall submit a claim for damaged/lost merchandise. Only upon the Seller receiving the refund from the shipping company, shall the Buyer be refunded. If the shipping company denies the claim however, the Buyer shall not receive a refund. Should this occur, the Buyer is not entitled to any refund or damages. The Seller shall assume no financial responsibility to reimburse the Buyer whatsoever.
22. Venue. Any litigation which may ensue shall be brought in Broward County, Florida.
23. As to all items which are designated by the Seller as “DAMAGED” or ‘AS IS,” there are absolutely no returns, refunds or exchanges available. THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS.
24. All electronic items such as Instrument Gauge Clusters, Engine Computers, Any Electrical Sensors, Climate Controls, Speakers, Headlight Switches, Window Switches, Windshield Wiper Switches, Radios, and Lighting Components have only a 3 day warranty from date of delivery. THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS.
25. The Seller recommends that the Buyer verify the color of any item he or she purchases. The Buyer assumes FULL RESPONSIBILITY for confirming the color on any item prior to purchase. If the Buyer buys the item and discovers the item is not the color he or she believed it was, then the Buyer shall assume all financial responsibility to return the item in proper condition and shall be subject to the Sellers’ 20% restocking fee and the Seller’s original shipping costs.
26. The Buyer assumes full responsibility to ensure that their registered address on both eBay and Paypal is completely accurate and up to date! We assume no financial responsibility for refunding Buyers who have provided inaccurate shipping information, who have moved and/or forgotten to update their current address. We will only ship to the registered Paypal address. THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS.
27. FOR FREIGHT DELIVERIES, A COMMERCIAL ADDRESS IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Items shipped through FREIGHT shipping services to any RESIDENTIAL ADDRESS are subject to a $175 surcharge ($100 for the residential delivery fee and $75 for the lift gate fee). Buyers failing to pay the additional surcharge shall have their orders canceled and be blocked immediately from making future purchases! Should a Buyer refuse a freight delivery, the Buyer shall be held accountable for all shipping costs, both to the Buyer and back to the Seller, as well as the aforementioned re-stocking fee.
28. Buyers threatening to withhold an item until they are refunded are in violation of eBay’s return policy and will be reported to eBay.
29. Buyers attempting to open a charge-back through either their credit card company, bank or any other financial institution either before or after Paypal, eBay or any other payment processing company has ruled a dispute or claim in Seller’s favor will still be subject to Seller’s return policy. Should this occur, a copy of the Seller’s return policy will be sent to the financial institution for review.
30. In the event of a return we reserve the right to ask the buyer to submit video evidence of the defective item. The buyer can then either send it to us through MMS or upload it to youtube and provide the link.
