Have you ever wanted extra storage on your bikepacking rig but don't have extra bosses on your forks?

These brackets are custom designed for fitting to mountain bike forks (any brand) when coupled to cargo cages.

In the photos (for display purposes) they are used with Blackburn outpost cargo cages and a elite bottle cage (neither are included in this sale).

These brackets are 40mm (pictured) diameter but you can order custom sizes by checking your fork lowers diameter and letting me know.

Selling as single pairs, that means you’d need to order a quantity of 2 if you want to attach something to both sides of the bike. Order 1 if you only want to mount one cage (not included) on one side. 

They are 3D printed and use stainless steel hardware and are simple clamped with onto your bike and you're ready for adventure.

I have used these for cooker/sleeping bag storage (not included).

Also may possible to design fully custom brackets as can been seen mounted to the fat bike in the last image but this would involve additional cost due to bespoke design.

**for installation**

I include some foam strips that can be adhered to the inside edges of each clamp if needed.

The clamps are slightly oversized to allow for the foam strips, please message if you'd like the sizes exact.

Also, in my experience you don't want to over clamp them on the forks, I like to just nip them up so they stop moving. Excessive force could damage the fork or the mounting bracket.

I lightly fix them in place, then get the spacing right (for cargo cage or bottle cage). Fit the cage, then washer, then the nyloc nut to secure (again not a lot of force is required).

Then I'll move the clamps into position (avoiding rotors, spokes and hoses) and clamp them up evenly.

Use 2 per side.

Repeat for the other side.

Additional clamping force can be gained with a few wraps of electrical tape.
