Steinbach ES 2003 BAVARIA BEER DRINKER Nutcracker – Limited Edition.  This nutcracker stands 6” inches tall, in mint condition with original box.  Box was opened at store to inspect the Nutcracker.   The Nutcracker has never been displayed.  COLLECTOR PIN included.

The Bavarian Beer Drinker (ES2003) Nutcracker was the fourth in the Steinbach Collector's Club Nutcracker Series. This jolly Bavarian fellow is a traditional figure from German history. Bavaria is the largest state in the Federal Republic of Germany and has always been the center of German art and craftsmanship. Descendants of medieval craftsman, in the area, to this day still produce items such as cuckoo clocks, Christmas toys and other handiwork products. The city of Munich in Bavaria is home of the famous Oktoberfest, a sixteen day festival which attracts tourists worldwide. 

In his traditional lederhosen with authentic suspenders and a green felt hat, the Bavarian Beer Drinker is a picture of merriment for Oktoberfest. As a symbol of German heritage and folklore, the Bavarian Beer Drinker nutcracker is a perfect choice for the mini club in 1999.
