One of China's traditionally famous teas, Lu Shan Yun Wu is harvested from the peak of Mount Lu, a beautiful scenic spot shrouded in thick mist and a favorite holiday destination. There was a old Chinese saying "Yun Wu Chu Hao Cha", which means "where there's cloud and mist, there's bound to be good tea". Indeed, Lu Shan Yun Wu is one of China's finest, and it was already an Imperial Tribute Tea since the Song Dynasty.
Lushan Yunwu tea generally picks fresh leaves between Gu Yu and beginning of summer. Pick a bud and a leaf, not longer than 5 cm. Lushan Yun Wu tea due to foggy weather and short daylight conditions, such as direct effects of the formation of the leaf thickness, more pekoe, mellow and thick, sweet after taste.
Brewing Yun Wu Green Tea:
1. Rinse tea cup and teapot with hot water.
2. Use about 3.5 - 7 grams of tea leaves (2-3.5 teaspoons) for every 225 ml of water.
3. Steep tea leaves in hot water at 70.C (158.F) to 80.C (176.F) for 1 minute for the first and second brewing.
4. Gradually increase steeping time and temperature for subsequent brewing.
5. Refill when glass is still 1/3 full.
Storage:
Protect against the tide, peculiar smell, keeps in low temperature and refrigerates it.
