How to measure your cable only: The way to correctly measure what size cable you need is to follow this step by step guide. 1, Completely remove the handle and cable from the recliner chair or sofa 2, Remove the entire cable for the back of the handle 3, Pull the inner metal wire out of the tube and measure the full length including the hook 4, Measure the outer tube including the clips at each end 5, Subtract measurement 4 from 3 to give you a size that matches as near as possible to one of our cable sizes. **Please note for example if a 92mm cable is ordered when installed into the handle the exposed length of 92mm becomes 79mm as 13mm is taken up in the back of the handle** Handle Size: The handle is measured as follows 1, Across the face of the handle from front to rear 115mm (Approx) 2, Across the face of the handle from top to bottom 70mm (Approx) 3, Depth/thickness of the handle 38mm (Approx).
