The Medals are high quality replicas with authentic ribbon from Toye Kenning and Spencer in England. Each medal is fully covered with its signifying ribbon front and back, there is no felt backing to hide short ribbon for cost cutting and poor workmanship. The backing pins have locking clutch fasteners and are extremely strong. Using these pins makes it easier and quicker to align on your shirt or jacket, than it is to use a long brooch pin. The medals have been stitched down with invisible thread, there is no glue or silicone used. Using glue or silicone damages the medals and does not allow the medals to be repurposed if you are awarded additional medals. Medals are mounted on 2mm Perspex, not hessian or cardboard like most mounted medals. The Use of Perspex makes it highly durable. It will not bend, degrade or fall apart due to becoming wet from precipitation (rain). Medals are constructed to Defence regulations. Full size backing board height is 75mm with a total height of 95mm. Miniature size board is 40mm with a total height of 50mm, this is to allow the rear of the medal to be partially seen. The width is in accordance with the number of medals awarded.

I have served with the Defence Force for over 10 years and have participated in many ceremonial occasions. I have seen many medal sets fall apart whilst on parade, for this reason I only make quality medal sets that I would wear myself.
