Harmony Kingdom Tongue & Cheek Trinket Box MADE IN ENGLAND

This delightful little hand painted trinket box is titled Tongue and Cheek.
It's part of the Harmony Kingdom collection and is a Peter Calvesbert design which was released in 1994 and retired in 2009.

It's composed of marble dust and resin. The detail is amazing. See if you can find the mouse....

I bought this and one other on a trip to Hawaii in 1998. They were quite expensive. The other one, a butterfly, is on display in a shadow box ( a nod to my mother) by the front door and always seems to intrigue visitors. They are certainly great conversation starters.

This one is in brand new condition as it has been stored in its original packaging inside a camphor wood chest for 22 years. It was to have been a gift for my knick-knack collecting mother. Sadly, she passed away suddenly in that same year before I was able to surprise her with it. She would have loved it, i know. I just put it away never got around to displaying it. When I recently relocated, I found it again and decided that someone else should enjoy it.

I have tried to capture the whimsy and fun in this clever depiction of the three frogs ( and the mouse) from as many angles as possible, but if you'd like more photos, please ask.

At only 5x x5 x5 cm, it's quite tiny. Surely there's a vacant nook or cranny somewhere in your home where you can give a new lease of life to these three charming fellows!

As it's in pristine condition, it would also make a wonderful gift for a special person in your life. It comes in its original box and even has the little information booklet including an invitation to become a member of the Royal Watch collector's club.

Please see photos as they form part of the description.
