The perfect winter weight of 400 grams per square meter, 100% Pure Merino Wool made by the famous Atkinson mill, weaving fine woolen blankets since 1828.  John Atkinson has the Royal Warrant and supplies the Queen of England with blankets. These are the traditional 3"satin bound, white woolen blanket that your Grandmother had. Warm, soft, not scratchy because it is 100% MERINO wool, yes there is a big difference in wools.
