Details: This auction is for the gorgeous antique Art Deco silver mesh and rhinestone purse, made in Czechoslovakia in 1920-30s. The purse is beautifully designed and features elegant silver tone metal mesh (most likely low grade silver), adorned with hand sewn sparkling rhinestones. The silver is not hallmarked, but appears to be a low grade silver, possibly 800. The purse has elegant chain handle. The lining is original, ivory color raw silk, very clean.

 

The purse is as seen in the photos. It is marked on inside of the frame: CZECHOSLOVAKIA and has a maker’s mark.

 

Measurements: The purse measures approx. 4.25” tall at the top of the clasp and 4” wide. The chain handle is approx. 12.5” long.

 

Condition: The antique Art Deco silver mesh and rhinestone purse is in very good condition. The lining is original, very clean.
