How to find the movement number:
Citizen movement numbers are located on the back of your watch case. It is usually in XXXX-YYYY format with "XXXX" being the movement number. In this example photo, the "C650" is the movement number. Use this movement number as a reference to find the correct capacitor.

 

Rechargeable Battery Installation Guide

These are general instructions and may differ according to model.  Please have a qualified watchmaker handle the installation if you are unsure of this process.

1.     Warning: DO NOT use a battery tester/voltmeter on these rechargeable batteries, as this may affect the ability of the battery to hold a charge.

2.     Remove watchband and/or case protector to access caseback

3.     Open caseback - usually with small philips screwdriver

4.     Remove rubber shock protector

5.     Unclip metal battery clamp by pushing down and away with tweezers

6.     Note position of battery and remove spent battery

7.     Insert new battery in same orientation as spent battery

8.     Reset Module by short circuiting the "AC" contact to the back of the battery with tweezers

9.     Ensure that caseback gasket is properly seated and lubricated

10. Re-install rubber shock protector

11. Re-install caseback

12. Re-install strap and/or case protector

13. For Solar, place watch in strong sunlight or wear watch in sunlight

14. If your watch does not operate normally, double check the battery installation, charging method and duration, or visit your local watchmaker for movement inspection
