This is a very nice handcrafted Long Wave full range tunable radio transmitter which is designed to broadcast music.  The operating frequency range is 125-550 KHz with VFO control and the output power is 1000 miliwatts. It's frequency can be adjusted by a special circuit which performs very good frequency stability. This transmitter runs on 12 Volts DC. You can connect the AF input (modulator input) directly to a casette  player, MP3 Player, Ipod, PC sound card, mobile phone or CD player's output and you can listen your music on  your AM radio whatever if the radio is old or new. Also you can connect a microphone preamplifier if you want to transmit your voice. It operates on 12 Volts DC  (DC power supply operated) (power supply not included). You only need a good quality DC power source and a telescopic or wire antenna (a few meters long) to run this LW transmitter. A high power, 100V 40A mosfet is used at the PA to prevent any damage due to high VSWR ratios when used with short and mismatched antennas. This unit is pretty sufficient for indoor use and mostly designed to use as a simple station for your antique radios.
