She comments on screenwriter DeWitt Bodeen, authors Edwin Corle and John Van Druten. Condition: very good ** Harriet Parsons (1906-1983) was an American film producer, director and magazine writer. Daughter of famed gossip columnist Louella Parsons. Kathryn McLean (born Anderson) was best known by her pen name Kathryn Forbes. She was an American writer and memoirist. Her best-known work: "Mama's Bank Account" was published in 1943. It was the basis for John Van Druten's 1944 play I Remember Mama. The 1948 film version of the play starred Irene Dunne as Mama and Barbara Bel Geddes as her daughter.
