Important Note:
1. DisplayPort cable (male to male) is required to connect the adapter to display monitor. DP cable is sold separately.
2.If your laptop has 2 USB-C ports, you can use 2 adapters to drive multiple monitors. To connect two external displays, passive DisplayPort male cables required.
3. Not all USB Type-C devices support DisplayPort output, so check with your manufacturer. Your device must have a USB Type-C port with DP Alternate mode.
4. 8K resolution requires a 8K video source and 4K display, 4K resolution requires a 4K video source and 4K display. For example, if your computer supports 4K@60Hz, while your monitor/TV/projector only supports 4K@30Hz or 1080p, you can only get 4K@30Hz or 1080p output.
5. MacBook 12 does not support 4K@60Hz output; it has a maximum output of 4K@30Hz.
6. NOT Support phones/tablets with MHL and SlimPort solutions such as Google Nexus 5X/6P, Pixel Phone/tablet, Galaxy Tab S3, Moto Z force, LG G6, Dell inspiring series tablet.
