This auction is for a Japanese Chocolate pot.  It has 3 cups and 6 saucers.  They are marked on the bottom with two Japanese characters on a red background.   I believe the mark is Giokusei Mid Japan Seto / Nagoya.  The porcelain is decorated with Geisha's and the multi pattern background, llots of gold accents.  The pot and cups are decorated with White Moriage Chrysanthemums.  These are a typical shape but the hand painted pattern is unique.  Very intricate.  I could not find another like it.  Perfect for serving Tea, Coffee or Chocolate.

The teapot measures approximately 8-1/2" tall, 10-1/2" tall with lid, 6" diameter, 7" with handle and spout.  The cups measure approximately 3" tall, 3" diameter, 3-5/8" with handle.

I found a crack in the lid, I show a closeup in the last two photos, one inside and one outside.  The crack goes thru the porcelain but not all the way across.  This crack does not affect the use of the pot.    There is some loss of paint on the handle.  I found no other cracks, chips or repairs.  This is an "As-Is" auction so please see all photos and feel free to ask questions.
