These FlueBlockers are refurbished and function just as a brand new FlueBlocker would. The only difference is they may have some smudges or stains that we could not remove during the refurbishing process. These units are from customers that ordered the incorrect size and then exchanged them for the correct size.

The FlueBlocker is a draft stopper plug to use to stop drafts in chimney flues or dampers.

The FlueBlocker works by pressure fitting into the opening to seal the area and hold itself in place. For this reason always order a FlueBlocker that is slightly larger than the area it is going into.
You can always trim for the best fit, or make a small slit to allow for hardware that is not removable.

If you need additional handle extenders to be able to reach your install location they can be purchased separately. There is a chart explaining how they work so you can determine how many your install requires.

Do NOT light a fire with the Flueblocker in place.
Do NOT use the Flueblocker in a fireplace that has a vented gas log.
Make sure the red reminder tag hangs into your firebox to remind you to remove it before starting a fire.
