Interesting original artist's 1948 pen and ink commercial art drawing of the fitting of aircraft flexible fireproof petrol tanks into cars.   A finely drawn professional illustration, one of a set of three, published in the Autocar, 20th August, 1948 edition, page 791.

On translucent detail paper.   Some creasing, marks and discolouration.

This is NOT a print.  It is the original artist's drawing.  A rarely available piece of motoring history; perfect for framing.  Please see photos for dimensions.

Many of the drawings were produced by Autocar in-house artists such as Ferguson, Millar, Hatton, Berris and Cresswell, although very few were signed.   Detail paper is a cross between cartridge and tracing paper.  During the war the Autocar was kept going by articles about maintaining cars, what they could look like after the war, and latest developments.   Please enquire about multiple purchases.

International postage covers Australia, which is the furthest away.  However, postage will be less to nearer countries, and all excess postage will be refunded in full.

Postage will be combined for multiple purchases.
