Description: an original antique map from John Owen and Emanuel Bowen's, 'Britannia Depicta or Ogilby Improv'd ...', 4th edition, 1759. Britannia Depicta was a pocket-sized road atlas which was extremely popular in the 18th century and contained over 250 road and county maps, each decorated with coats of arms of local gentry and accompanied with information on the routes they covered. The maps were engraved by the well-renowned Emanuel Bowen and the information was provided by John Bowen. The sheet is printed on both sides as follows:

Side 1: county map of Denbighshire

Side 2: the route passing through part of Cornwall
