Identified on catalog pages in the ABINGDON book as the CACTUS vase, shape 616D and from about 1947. This colorful piece is about 6-3/4" x 7-1/4" x 4." It features a figurine with a sombrero and having a siesta while leaning on a large cactus which forms the vase part of the figural scene. Cactus and man are both sited on a oval base mount. Cactus is white and surrounded by adjoining smaller green cacti.  Man has striped pants, black shoes and decorated sombrero. Ink stamped on the base with the ABINGDON, USA mark and impressed 616 shape mark. Very charming and in mint condition.
