On offer from my Napoleonic Action Figure collection is the rarest and most desirable French soldier, “Carnot” – a bearded, impressive-looking Sapper (Sappeur; combat engineer) of Napoleon’s Imperial Guard. This figure is brand-new in its original box, whose interior has never been opened. The seals inside the box are still intact; even the protective piece of white paper inside the box is still present, and you can see all this in the photos. The details on Carnot’s uniform are simply incredible – highly accurate buttons, trim, insignia, you name it. The equipment and weapons are also extremely accurate; I especially like the sword with a metal blade and the heavy axe with a real wood handle and metal head.
Carnot was made by Dragon in Dreams in a limited, exclusive edition for Modellers Loft in 2005 and quickly sold out. He is eagerly sought by Napoleonic figure collectors and other fans of the Napoleonic Wars, because he makes an incredible display item. As a result, even used Carnots without the original packaging command high prices. I know you will enjoy owning Carnot; he has always been my favorite Napoleonic Action Figure.
