This is the latest LED headlamp bulb replacement for the Bayonet Cap BA15d headlamp bulb as fitted to all British car & motorbikes from the 1920s until the late 1940s, even later for Velocette & Vincent

The bulb they replace is shown in the second photo

They suit  6V & 12V NEGATIVE & POSITIVE  earth systems.

They fit straight into the existing headlight fittings without modification and draw very little power, typically around 7 Watts

They give a very bright white light which attracts attention in the daytime & gives a bright light at night with a good beam pattern, so ideal for night riding & permenant daytime lights.

The new sophisticated heatsink allows more powerful, brighter LEDs to be fitted. The heatsink doesn't reduce the light output in any way, just like the shield in front of the filaments in the std. bulb.
