This white 10oz ceramic mug is decorated with a highly detailed hand drawn illustration of Sting's 1957 Fender P Bass. Playing a Precision Bass since the late sixties, Sting has owned his main instrument for over a quarter of a century. Now showing considerable signs of damage from many years of touring and recording hasn’t affected its performance and it still has a growl that a modern bass guitar doesn’t possess. The illustration of this famous guitar is original and has been produced by George Morgan following extensive research. This is not a photograph. The guitar has been dye sublimated onto the mug. This means the image is under the ceramic glaze and is dishwasher, microwave and UV-proof and with normal domestic use will not scratch, crack, fade or peel. The durable nature of this printing process makes this mug ideal for use in the home or studio. |
