This white 10oz ceramic mug is decorated with a highly detailed hand drawn illustration of Chris Squire's 1964 Rickenbacker RM1999, from George Morgan.

In 1964, Chris Squire was suspended from school for having long hair and was given money to get a hair cut. Instead of getting his hair cut he went home and never returned to school. He began work selling guitars in a music shop in London and used his staff discount to purchase a Rickenbacker RM1999 bass, the imported version of the 4001S.

The illustration of this bass is original and has been produced by George Morgan following extensive research. This is not a photograph.

The guitar has been dye sublimated onto the mug. This means the image is under the ceramic glaze and is dishwasher, microwave and UV-proof and with normal domestic use will not scratch, crack, fade or peel.

The durable nature of this printing process makes this mug ideal for use in the house or studio.
