This GORGEOUS cotton 30's/40's "rose tree" quilt is hand appliqued and hand quilted, with a rarely found design.
It measures 80" X 100" and is in mint, never washed condition, with a couple of small spots and no wear.
The quilting is superb, with quilting around and within the applique and in elaborate grid, bow, petal, and leaf designs quilted in the background, all at an even 8 stitches to the inch with faint pencil marks still visible in places.
The back is white, the hand stitched binding is solid green, and the batting is thin.
