"Mavra" fig tree is a Cypriot Balzano type fig.

this fig considered to have a large size, it has a

 brown - black skin. 

the fruits are sweet and smooth.

Fig plant also produces Breba.

Depending on the climate, it normally produces figs in August till November.

2 Cuttings are carefully wrapped with a wet paper towel, cling film and posted in an envelope. 

Cuttings are 22 cm size

Rooting instructions for fig cuttings

Consider humidity and warmth and nutrition for rooting.

1.   Prepare soil with ½ soil and ½ perlite. Perlite is a natural material which is porous and holds moisture and creates space for the roots to breath.

2.    Place the cutting in a plastic cup or pot with holes drilled at the bottom to drain extra water, add the soil mixture to the cup until you cover the cutting leaving only one or two nodes above the soil, add plenty of water,

3.    Water daily and keep it is warm environment. Do not let the soil dry. Do not place in direct sunlight or very hot environment. Roots start to appear normally in 3 weeks. Good Luck
