The Eclipse Outdoor car cover, created using the very latest modern materials in a four layer construction. Breathable, 100% waterproof and a good weight to fabric makes the Eclipse an excellent choice for everyday outdoor use in all weathers.
Due to the breathability this cover can be used indoors but its main uses are outdoors. The four layers combine to give a thicker robust fabrics and is created using Double Stitched and Over-locked, Heat Sealed Seams for maximum strength and waterproofing. The Eclipse Outdoor car cover comes with under body securing straps, as well as front and rear eyelets to aid in windy locations. (Please remember to leave a lot of slack when fastening). The Eclipse cover also has a locking kit facility (locking kit sold separately) to aid visual security.
For outdoor covers, at this price you won't find better as it will protect from most of what Mother Nature can throw at it, (see the Small Print for exceptions) and it will last for years if you follow the care of instructions supplied with the cover.

Wash, clean and polish your car within an inch of its life. Just in case you have to return the cover because of unseen anomalies, like a bigger rear spoiler, deeper pumpers, splitters, side skirts, roof bars bigger than the factory fitted set, the list is endless of the things we find on cars that weren't fitted at the factory. Get into the habit.
Always make sure your car is 100% clean, free of dirt, grit, dust. bird and bee poop and any other detritus that could dirty your new cover or even worse drag across your car's paintwork... For breathable outdoor covers, the car can be wet, so no need to dry first.
Cover Fitting Tips.
When you get your new cover, whilst indoors, open the Holdall and make sure that the FRONT TAB sewn into the FRONT of the cover is visible. If not remove, unroll and reinsert so it is.
Take cover to car and place on bonnet / hood with dare I say it but the FRONT TAB facing the FRONT
Unroll the cover up over the windscreen, across the roof and down to the rear boot / trunk./ RLA.
At this point it's wise to take a picture of it with your camera phone so you can see the width it needs to be to return it to the bag when dry.
Go round to the sides and unfold the cover and place the heavy duty elasticated hem under your wing mirrors for stability.
Then it's just a case of pulling each corner down.
If your cover has wing mirror pockets then insert those and then go round the whole cover and adjust according.
... And that's it in less than 90 seconds your car is covered and protected.
To remove is the reversal taking note to fold it to the correct width, by looking at the picture on your phone... ;-}
The Underbody straps.DO NOT PULL TIGHT!
These are just to make sure the cover does not fly away in strong winds; the hems are heavy-duty so are really good at holding it onto your car. If you uses the straps, I can't stress enough how important this is but DO NOT PULL THEM TIGHT, they MUST HANG LOOSE.
The cover is breathable and it needs to lift off your bodywork and balloon as air passes through it and this then allows the warm air to pass through to dry off any moisture or morning dew.
If you clamp the cover to the body it will take aeons to dry if at all, the cover needs to be free to lift off to do the job you ask of it. Which brings us onto this subject...
Fashion over function.
The modern problem we are faced with.
The best covers for outdoors are loose fitting and breathable and preferably without mirror pockets.
The worst outdoor cover you could buy is a tight fitting bespoke cover that makes your car look super sexy, but all you're doing is paying way too much for an inferior product.
In a nutshell.
Keep the straps loose and your cover will work brilliantly, pull them tight and it will look like great snug fitting cover, but it will take days instead of hours to do the simple task you ask of it and paid all that money for...
We don't do one cover fits all...
With over 750 patterns and 12 different material types to cover most cars in the UK, Europe and quite a few from the USA, we should have the one for you, plus we also hand make bespoke one-off indoor and outdoor car covers in a choice of colours, depending on the car. What Mother nature can throw at us?...
It a car cover made from a very tough modern material, what it is not is a brick wall or armour plating, nor is it a building either and just for those that are not from our planet it does not produce a protective force field around your car to protect it from all that mother nature can throw at it, you'd be better off staying in your spaceship.
We rely on you having a bit of commonsense when it comes to the weather and what it could possibly do to your car. If you see things flying past your window, it's time to move the car to a safer place, because a cover cannot protect your car from items hitting it, so move it to a safer place.
The straps are only there to help your cover stay in place during windy periods, don't ever pull them tight as they won't allow the cover to do its job properly and have a built-in breaking tension of around 40 miles an hour. This is to protect the cover from being damaged. A repair service is available.
Condensation or Broken Car Cover ?...
This part applies to all outdoor breathable car covers from any manufacturer, from anywhere on planet Earth and any other populated planet in our carbon-based solar system... The same physics applies to all planets.
All breathable outdoor car covers let morning dew pass through the waterproof membrane (but not rain) as it's structure is almost vapour and this will settle on your body because it's colder than the surrounding outside air, just like a pint glass with condensation build-up.
If you're an early riser you're likely to find moist patches on your body work, this is not a problem with the cover, it's physics and if you left the car longer, the air passing through would warm up and dry off the condensation. So before you put a claim in for a broken cover, just check it is not condensation as 99.9% of the time it is.
Waterproof and Water-Resistant... There is a difference.
Waterproof means that under most conditions the material is put through it's going to keep what's ever underneath it dry, but there are grades of waterproofing. Send me a message if you want the in's and out's, but surface to say that all our Waterproof covers far exceed what is accepted as the minimum standard as we want you to be happy and recommend us.
Water-resistant covers are not waterproof as they do not contain a waterproof membrane, you will get water ingress eventually. If the cover touches the body when completely soaked, water may seep through, but being breathable, give it time and it will dry off. Chat with us to find your perfect solution.
Shipping Costs... And the new hidden cost
Shipping is not free it is included in the price of your cover, "Free Shipping" is just marketing hype as someone has to pay for delivery. So £12.99 is included to cover a Signed for Overnight courier.
Shipping Warning
We are now post Brexit and it's no longer cheap to move products across the UK mainland and even more expensive if your Rural or Offshore.
Couriers are now charging for return delivery, in other words, if you missed the courier and you don't collect it from their depot in time they will send it back to us along with another fee to pay for the return journey.. So that means we have made a loss as there is no real profit on eBay just turnover.
We don't want this to happen so please choose your delivery address wisely, and we are happy to send it to a work address or anywhere that we can obtain a signature, just let us know when purchasing.
If it ends up back at the factory, to have it delivered again you will have to pay another £12.99 in shipping costs. Don't blame us, blame the couriers for being greedy and milking Brexit again..

Simply put, none of us like mornings, no other reason, we start around midday (weekends 16.00 or 4pm) but that allows us to help you when you're with the car and not at work, so get in contact all the way up til 22.00 or 10pm and we'll happily help.

Please do not get our cover range confused with the cheaper covers you'll find on eBay from China and Eastern Europe to name a few. There is no comparison between us and them. Our covers have been designed by skilled craftsmen and women from the best materials and will last and look great for years to come if looked after and not wear out in months, covers is our main thing so we do know.
