How to Know If Your Transformer Has Failed or Not -
Step 1- Ensure the transformer/power supply adapter is plugged into both the wall power and the furniture item and switched on
Step 2- Check the status of the green LED light it will either be Steady On, Blinking/Flashing On/Off , Faint On or No LED light illuminated. Depending on what status your transformer/power supply adapter is follow the below steps.
Step 3- Status
Steady Green LED Light :- NO FAULT Working Correctly. If furniture is not working then check other accessories.
Faint On Green LED Light :- - Turn off wall power socket and wait for green LED light on box to turn off
- Disconnect furniture from the transformer/power supply adapter at the joint
- Turn On wall power socket and look for green LED light
- If green LED light has returned to steady bright ON this means No Fault with transformer/power supply adapter and fault lies beyond the transformer/power supply adapter
- If green LED light remains faint the fault is with the transformer/power supply adapter. REPLACE WITH NEW!
Blinking/Flashing Green LED Light :-
- Turn off wall power socket and wait for green LED light on box to turn off
- Disconnect furniture from the transformer/power supply adapter at the joint
- Turn On wall power socket and look for green LED light
- If green LED light has returned to steady bright ON this means No Fault with transformer/power supply adapter and fault lies beyond the transformer/power supply adapter
- If green LED light continues to Flask/Blink then the transformer/power supply adapter is at fault. REPLACE WITH NEW!
NO Green LED light :-
- Turn off wall power socket and wait for 2 minutes
- Disconnect furniture from the transformer/power supply adapter at the joint
- Turn On wall power socket and look for green LED light
- If green LED light has returned to steady bright ON this means No Fault with transformer/power supply adapter and fault lies beyond the transformer/power supply adapter
- If green LED light fails to illuminate or is faint, flashing/blinking then the transformer/power supply adapter is at fault. REPLACE WITH NEW!
Step 4 - If needed order a new transformer power supply adapter from Furniture Spares Direct!
