"Master of Sports" - a sports title, founded in 1935,
the Supreme Council of Physical Culture under the CEC of the USSR .
Titles are awarded to athletes of the USSR;
with the introduction in 1937 sport classification - for the fulfillment of the established in its regulations.
Assigning titles ended in 1992.
