This listing offers the update of your BMW Navigation MAPS. When you purchase this item, you will receive download and installation instructions via email, along with a direct download link. FSC IS NOT INCLUDED. The BMW map update provides the most up-to-date maps and information for your BMW navigation system. This includes new roads, construction zones, points of interest, and traffic information.
Not Sure Which Update You Need?
- Press "NAV" on your I-Drive controller.
- Click "OPTIONS" on your I-Drive controller.
- Scroll down to "NAVIGATION SYSTEM VERSION."
- You will see something like "ECE BMW 1.5.20 NBT ROAD MAP EUROPE NEXT 2014-1."
- Look for one of these words: "NEXT," "PREMIUM," "MOVE," "EVO", "MOTION," "ROUTE," "WAY," or "LIVE."

Ordering and Installation
Upon ordering, you will receive instructions on how to download and update your maps within 24 hours (usually within 20 minutes to 3 hours).
Downloading and installing is straightforward. Instructions will be emailed to you. You will need basic knowledge of how to download files onto a Windows machine and a 32GB or 64GB USB flash drive (depending on the update type).

If you notice "EAST" or "WEST" in the map's name, it indicates the map is split into regions covering different countries:

A: No, a Windows computer is required for this process.
Q: Can I install/update maps to include both EAST and WEST versions?
A: No, recent updates have split these regions due to map size. If the title includes "EAST" or "NEXT," you cannot install both regions.
Q: How easy/complicated is it to download and update car maps?
A: It depends on your experience, but basic computer knowledge, including downloading and uploading files onto a USB drive, is required.
Q: Will you provide support if I encounter difficulties?
A: Absolutely. The instructions are detailed and easy to follow, but full support will be provided if you get stuck.
Q: What is the FSC? Do I need it? How can I obtain it?
A: FSC is a 20-digit code (or for newer maps a tiny file that gets uploaded onto the USB) which may be required when you attempt to update maps. To find out if you will require it, attempt to update maps without FSC first. We can provide FSC code for £19.99 if your car has one of the following systems: "NEXT" "PREMIUM" "MOVE" "MOTION" "ROUTE".
