Here's a very nice, handcrafted, modern style all transistor regenerative radio, which is designed to receive 40 and 80 meter amateur bands (3.5 and 7.0 MHz). This small radio utilizes 3 transistors and 1 integrated circuit. Selectivity and sensitivity is very good. It is able to receive AM, CW and SSB signals. Beside HAM stations, the radio receives some international broadcast radio stations too. The radio has a loudspeaker of 8 Ohms, normally you don't need to use headphones. The 40 and 80 meter selection is available by a bandswitch. A fine tuning control is added beside the main tuning control. Instead of variable capacitors, varactor diodes has been used. This is a full solid state regenerative receiver.

I am an experienced radio receiver and transmitter builder, constructing radios for more than 40 years, so you can buy confidently. You will get a very good performance within it's frequency coverage. You will need an antenna and 12 Volts DC (10-16 Volts) voltage only to operate this small radio. Volume is very good and lots of stations  can be picked up even with a short antenna (min. 5 meters)
