5DIN Universal Composite Video Audio Cable with filter to reduce the typical buzz of the Commodore 64 and protect the integrated SID 6581/8580
The cable is NEW and TESTED before shipping, guaranteed working; 5 DIN connector and AV output with VIDEO (yellow connector) and AUDIO (red and white connector). Standard length of 1.5 meters. Copper cable. Can also be used for SCART inputs with adapter (see below).
The reduction of the buzz depends on many factors and is higher or lower depending on the case; it's more evident if you use a commodore with the SID 6581 rather than the 8580, if you listen to headphones, if you have a dual sid system the reduction is even more evident. You can test the difference in the Audio signal by maximizing the volume of the SID with the POKE54296.15 command
I got a difference of -15/20 dB on C64 assy 250407 with SID 6581; the SID 8550 gives a more limited buzz reduction of about -5 dB. In any case, the filter protects against the SID.

La riduzione del ronzio dipende da molti fattori ed è maggiore o minore a seconda dei casi; è piu’ evidente se utilizzate un commodore con il SID 6581 piuttosto che con l’8580, se fate ascolto in cuffia, se avete un sistema dual sid la riduzione è ancora piu’ evidente. Potete provare la differenza nel segnale Audio alzando al massimo il volume del SID con il comando POKE54296,15
Una differneza di -15/20 dB l’ho ottenuta su C64 assy 250407 con SID 6581; il SID 8550 da una riduzione del ronzio piu’ limitata di circa -5 dB. Ad ogni modo il filtro svolge una protezione nei confronti del SID.
Il cavo Video composito è UNIVERSALE e porta il segnale Audio e Video correttamente su tutti i computer Commodore C=64 / C64C / SX64 / C128 ed anche C16 / Plus 4 e C116; si collega all'uscita video sia da 8-DIN che 5-DIN
