You are looking at a brand-new Replacement Drive Clutch for your Polaris ATV. This clutch is a replacement for original Polaris part no. 1321976, non EBS. If you're browsing online, you have likely noticed that there are few aftermarket replacements available. Here are the reasons why our Drive Clutches are different than our competitors. The centre shaft is heat treated - All shafts are NOT made equal. The original Polaris clutch shaft for 1321976 was made of forged and chrome-coated steel which works well until the chrome coating wears thin and starts to provide resistance when the clutch is in motion. Niche clutch's are forged then heat-treated, polished and then lubricated before assembly to ensure a very long life expectancy with less chance of breakdown. Magnesium vs. Aluminum - We use a magnesium-aluminum alloy mix and high-pressure casting in order to make all of our clutch components. This allows for tighter and more solid casting without any internal imperfections. Ultimately it creates a drive clutch with a much higher break force than other low-cost aftermarket alternatives. We also balance our sheaves. You will notice if you look really closely at pictures that our clutches are machined and balanced in the same way as the OEM clutch. Small holes are drilled into the clutch sheave in order to keep it balanced. Installing an unbalanced clutch on your machine would be much the same as installing tires without balancing them. You would create a bumpy ride and risk damaging your engine in a short period of time. We are careful to machine each sheave at optimized angles for strong take-offs and top speed. Using a sheave that has not been machined and polished properly can seriously affect your machine's performance. Burrs in a sheave that is not machined and polished can significantly reduce your drive belt's life expectancy. Quality and performance guaranteed! DETAILS
