These are custom
d-pad replacement pieces I have designed myself- they improve the
tactility and responsiveness of the Jaguar 6-button and 3-button
controller directional inputs. They are an absolute must! I have sold
many of these to dozens of happy customers who have reported back
positively and I am ready to offer them here on eBay.
Please
review the information provided to determine if you need a 'thin' or
'thick' style piece for your controller. There are two different kinds
of 3-button controllers that require different style d-pad/thumbstick
pieces. You will have to open your controller to verify what you have.

'Thin'
style pieces are intended to replace the original d-pad of both
Atari-branded and reproduction 6-button Jaguar controllers. They will
also go in 3-button controllers that have a red plastic center post
screwed into the top PCB inside. You must unscrew this center post to
install the 'Thin' type piece in a 3-button controller.
'Thick'
style pieces are intended for 3-button controllers that have a white
plastic harness inside, they will not work in any other type of Jaguar
controller.
If you wish, your
controller can be changed back to its original state at any time, the
modification is reversible and does not damage anything.
Simply
pick the style and color you want. After you receive them, peel out the
adhesive rubber covers on the back of your controller to reveal the
four screw holes holding the shell together. Open the controller to
remove the original d-pad and place the new piece in, (see pictures
above for an example) close everything back up and the controller is
ready for use.
