A lovely antique Chinese porcelain pillow in the form of a recumbent cat, possibly Cizhou-type ware. She rests on an oval plinth and is decorated with green toned spots and detailing. Very gentle and charming expression. In fair antique condition, with general wear from age, some crazing & surface dirt/discoloration, chips to the base edge, a hole near one of the cat's ears, a chip to other ear, and some crack-like separations to the underside porcelain (may have resulted during production) - see pictures. Measures approx. 5"h x 8"l x 3.75"w. Unmarked. Exact age unknown, suspect 19th century.
