The original connectors are known to overheat and melt.  There are several reasons for this, but once the source of the problem is repaired, one is left needing a replacement connector housing.  This is an exact replacement.  Also included are five factory style wire terminals.  These terminals can replace damaged/corroded terminals on your factory harness.  Cut off the old ones and crimp these on.  These terminals are designed for use with 14-16 gauge wires.  I recommend crimping, soldering, and heat shrinking these terminals.  Then they slide into the rear of the housing and lock into place (requires special tool to remove, or use a very small flat tip screwdriver, like for eye glasses).  Five terminals are included (the Jeep blower switch only uses four wires, so you will have an extra terminal).

If you have a different application that requires all 5 terminals, you will be all set.
