Unbalanced Connection - XLR PIN 2 is connected to the Tip (of the 6.35mm Plug), XLR PIN 3 is connected to the sleeve (earth), XLR PIN 1 is connected to the Sleeve (earth). This adapter is only available in an unbalanced format, it is not possible to make a balanced 6.35mm mono to XLR adapter.
