Antique Oriental copper jar for tea or tobacco with white metal (probably silver) bands, brass dragons and semi-precious stones (cabochon cut jade in my opinion). I don't know the country of origin. My best guess is China, as I listed, probably ended here in Liverpool with sailors and trade in 1880-1900.
The jar is thick and because of this has survived well, no obvious damage, just scratches, the stones are sitting firmly in mounts, not damaged.
