15V Power Delivery (PD) is required for the USB-C power supply, and this cable will charge at 15V/2.58A, 15V/1.6A, 15V/4A, 15V/6.33A. 

Other chargers with less than 15V PD output, including 5V, 9V or 12V won't work normally. Please double-check your PD charger and make sure that it lists "15V/3A" in the specs. 

-Most Apple PD power chargers DO NOT work with this cable as most models have no 15V output.

45W or greater power is indispensable. Other chargers with lower power, such as 18W, 24W or 29W may limit their performance and even shut down due to the overcurrent protection mechanism. 

65W PD or greater power MUST be required to charge Microsoft Surface Pro 6. Other Surface models, such as Surface Go, Surface Pro 5/4/3, Surface Laptop, Surface Book 2/1, Surface Studio need 45W PD (15V/3A) or greater.
