I am a retired Antiques Dealer who is gradually  disposing of his stock through EBay. All items listed are genuine in my expert opinion, and the condition of the item is as listed. If any item is found to be not as described, or if the condition varies markedly from that given in the listing, then I will give a full money back guarantee upon receipt of the disputed item as long as I am notified within 5 days of receipt. I will also refund return royal mail signed for postage costs. In all other returns the buyer will be responsible for the return postage costs. If there is anything that you are particularly collection, or you have a wants list, please feel free to ask. If it is not immediately to hand (3 storerooms), I will make a note and come back to you if it turns up.

This is an Excellent Example of a Late 19th Century Doulton Lambeth Glazed Impasto Ware Jardiniere Dated 1881. The straight circular planter body is cream glazed and stands on a raised inner rim. The body is decorated with four rings of impasto applique in relief. The top ring is white birds in flight, the second ring is linked swags in green, the third ring is dancing children in blue and the fourth is roundels in clay. The condition is very good with only one small chip to the outer rim (please see photos).

The base shows the impressed marks for the pottery, style and date.

The jardiniere is 7 inches in diameter, 6½ inches high and weighs 1.5Kgm.
