I did measure the total length by laying flat with the back to me. From the top of the neck to the leg opening, I measured 39 inches. The package says the height is 39-47 inches, but there is no way a child 47 inches tall would fit in this costume.
Laid flat, the distance from shoulder tip to shoulder tip of the costume is 15.5 inches.
Laid flat, the distance from the tip of the shoulder to the tip of the sleeve is 16.5 inches.

***I received this item on a store liquidation pallet. The costume is complete and shows no signs of use. I opened the bag to verify condition. I am saying this is pre-owned because the costume had been removed from the packaging before. I can tell because it wasn't folded properly. I'm unsure if it was actually used, but I'm selling as such.
