Antique Folk Art large Carved Beaver Lure with Articulating Tail.

Found at an incredible Virginia folk art estate, wonderful rare 1930’s carved wood beaver lure with articulating tail. 19” by 8” by 4” with rusted tin limbs, wire whiskers, tin button eyes and original finish. Some alligatoring on finish. Tail moves left and right as lure is pulled through water. Sized like a small beaver. Weighted, it has its original hooks as well. It’s a remarkable piece of folk art.
